Responding to a Buyer Question

Increase Buyer confidence and encourage bidding on your auctions by communicating with potential Buyers through our "Ask Seller A Question" tool.

It's an effective opportunity to convert curious Buyers into engaged, active bidding activity that ultimately improves the performance of your auctions!

Rules & Guidelines for Responding to Buyer Questions

Please follow these B-Stock requirements and best practices for all communication with Buyers.

  • Do not include physical addresses, personal email address(es) or phone number(s) in the message.
  • Please be sure that your answers are related to the product itself.
  • Attempts to solicit transactions outside of B-Stock will result in removal from the marketplace.

Step 1: Actively Monitor & Read Incoming Messages from Buyers

  • Log-in to your Seller Account
  • Access Buyer submitted questions about your auctions by clicking the "Message Center" link located at the top right of your screen.

Step 2: Respond to Buyer Questions

  • Go to the "Awaiting Responses" tab to view Buyer messages still awaiting your response.
  • Enter your response and click "Reply" to send your response to the Buyer.

Keep interested Buyers egaged with your auction(s) by promptly responding to questions.
